How is this new reality of threats, actions and intimidation affecting you and how do you make sense of it. We want to hear and support your voice.

For the month of March, IRONDALE IS SUSPENDING all REGULAR PERFORMANCES to open the doors of our theatre the Irondale Center that performers, activists other members of the community may publicly respond to the actions and policies of the Trump administration through their art and their concerns.

We offer artists a platform to respond to the challenges of these unique and troubling times. * The lineup for each performance date will be announced soon.*

Yearning to Breathe Free features performances centered around the experience of immigrants in NYC past and present as well as the 70,000 youth a year who are run through the New York justice system. The night will include a panel discussion addressing how artists can create work that truly has an IMPACT. Join us!
