The Great Lesbian Love of Eve Adams

The Great Lesbian Love of Eve Adams

Synopsis: The Great Lesbian Love of Eve Adams tells the true story of Jewish immigrant Eve Adams, lesbian publisher, speakeasy proprietor, and self-proclaimed “Queen of the Third Sex” in 1920’s New York. Eve dealt with a lot in her time. She was discriminated against as an immigrant, a Jew, an anarchist, and a gender non-conforming lesbian. She fought for queer female space and representation in an era when being gay was the same as being a criminal. Although our country has made great strides towards queer equality this past century, we must continue striving for fair representation, carrying on Eve’s 100-year-old fight.
